You hear it all the time, “I only watch the Superbowl for the commercials.” While that statement is pure nonsenses to a football fan, the Superbowl does feature the best commercials of the year. You can always count on Super bowl Sunday bringing with it a slew of consumer encouragement that astounds the mind.

Noxzema – Many consider this 1973 ad the first truly legendary Superbowl commercial. It featured Jets QB Broadway Joe Nameth.



Coca-Cola – Coca-Cola debuted this ad featuring Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman “Mean Joe” Greene in 1980 .


Apple – One of the most renowned Super Bowl ad ever was Apple’s 1984 themed ad. It was directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Ridley Scott (Aliens, Gladiator) and featured a woman hurling a large hammer into a screen.


Disney World – While not really a Superbowl commercial, Disney World has one of the best campaigns going in its “I’m Going to Disney World!” slogan.
